Marketing agencies and ad networks are a dime a dozen.
But which one should you choose?
If you’re looking for an advertising platform that will give you the best return on investment with flexible management options, then you should definitely check out MyBid.
Since our original review, MyBid has significantly expanded their service offerings, evolving from a purely managed service to a platform that caters to both hands-off advertisers and those who prefer direct control over their campaigns.
What is MyBid?
MyBid is an online advertising platform that has been in existence since 2020.
The company helps brands and businesses reach their target audiences through a variety of ad types, the best of which is in-page push ads.
This advertising network offers a wide range of features, including real-time bidding, campaign management, and reporting.
Originally, MyBid operated exclusively as a fully-managed service, with the company believing that the only way their direct traffic source would work for advertisers was if they could give the reins to media buying experts from the MyBid team.
However, in 2024, MyBid expanded their offering to include a self-service option, giving advertisers more flexibility in how they want to manage their campaigns. Now users can choose between:
- Fully-managed service: Where MyBid’s media buying experts handle your campaigns
- Self-service platform: Where you can manage your own campaigns directly
The majority of its traffic is adult in nature, while some are grey mainstream. They have a mix of direct premium websites and brokered traffic, although you can specify if you want to use their direct traffic only.
MyBid also provides a suite of tools and resources that businesses can use to track their campaign results and see how their ads are optimized for the best results, whether through their personal advertising manager or through their self-service dashboard.
MyBid Features
With the hundreds of ad networks out there, it can be tricky to choose the right one, which is why we need to look into their features and the benefits they provide for us to determine whether the network is perfect for us or not.
Let’s outline some of MyBid’s most notable features:
Two Ad Management Options
One of MyBid’s standout advantages is offering advertisers the flexibility to choose how they want to manage their campaigns. You can select between two distinct approaches:
Fully Managed Ad Service
The traditional approach that MyBid is known for is their fully managed ad service, which remains one of their strongest offerings.
If you’re a beginner affiliate and don’t have much experience in creating, managing, and optimizing ad campaigns, using MyBid’s managed service will be greatly beneficial to you.
But even experienced affiliates can benefit from a managed ad service.
For one, you can simply delegate the mundane task of setting up a campaign and managing it to your account manager. This manager will monitor your campaigns and will do his best to achieve the results you are aiming for.
But the best benefit of this managed ad service is the knowledge that MyBid team has about their traffic.
Depending on your vertical, your account manager can blacklist or whitelist specific sources.
This means you can do away with the usual testing phase and building whitelists/blacklists when working with a new advertising network for the first time, thereby saving you some money.
The most important thing you need to know about MyBid’s managed service is that you will not have to pay the network to take care of your ads.
It’s like having a personal media buyer for free!
Self-Service Platform
For advertisers who prefer hands-on control, MyBid introduced their self-service platform in 2024.
This option is perfect for experienced media buyers who want to:
- Make real-time campaign adjustments without waiting for account manager responses
- Test and optimize campaigns at their own pace
- Have direct access to all campaign settings and targeting options
- Scale campaigns quickly based on performance data
The self-service platform provides the same high-quality traffic sources and ad formats as the managed service, but gives you complete autonomy over your campaigns.
You’ll have access to a comprehensive dashboard where you can create campaigns, adjust bids, modify targeting parameters, and analyze performance metrics in real-time.
This is ideal for agencies, experienced affiliates, or businesses that have dedicated media buying teams and prefer not to rely on external management.
Multiple Ad Formats
You want to try out MyBid advertising platform because you’ve heard that they have a bunch of different ad types for you to choose from.
So what are these different ad formats? And which one should you choose?
Let’s enumerate them.
Push Notification Ads
There’s the classic push format, which is an ad that appears as a notification on the user’s device, given that they have opted in to push notifications.
MyBid delivers close to 10 million push ad clicks in a month.
The top verticals for push notifications are Utilities, Dating, Nutra, Gambling & Betting, Crypto, Finance, and Cam offers. CPC starts at $0.0006.
In-Page Push Ads
The network also offers in-page ad, which is a banner ad that looks like a push notification, except that it is dependent on the website and not the device.
This is currently MyBid’s top ad type, delivering over 16 million clicks a month.
The best converting verticals here are Crypto, Finance (specifically Forex), Webcam/Cam offers, Dating, and Utility offers. Bids start at $0.0004 for CPC and $0.02 for CPM.
Popunder Ads
This is an ad that appears on a new page that opens up behind the current window and is one of the most popular ad types in the affiliate marketing industry.
MyBid’s monthly traffic volume for pops is around 400+ million clicks.
Take note that the network considers clicks and impressions to be one and the same.
In MyBid, the offer categories that work best for this format are Dating, Webcam, and Utilities, such as VPN and Antivirus. The minimum CPC bid is $0.00008, which is the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere.
Video Ads
MyBid‘s in-stream video ads are designed to grab your attention and hold it for the duration of the ad. These ads play before the actual video content, so you can be sure that your audience sees it. They’re short, they’re sweet, and they pack a powerful punch.
Banner Ads
Banner ads are the classic display advertising format placed on a website. The ad is displayed until the user interacts with it or until it’s time for the next ad to be served. The CPC bid starts at $0.0001, and the network can deliver up to 18 million banner ad clicks per month.
Telegram Mini Apps Ads
MyBid has also introduced Telegram Mini Apps (TMA) ads, one of the newest and most promising advertising formats in the industry. These are ads integrated directly into Telegram’s lightweight web applications that run within the messenger platform.
Based on industry tests, Telegram users show CTR and conversion rates 10-20x higher than traditional display ad formats, making this an exceptionally high-performing traffic source.
The audience is particularly valuable for certain verticals. Telegram’s user base consists largely of tech-savvy individuals interested in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and gambling, making TMA ads the ideal traffic source for crypto and gambling offers.
MyBid offers several TMA ad formats:
- Banner TMA Ads: Image-based ads with text that integrate naturally into the app interface, looking like functional windows within the mini app.
- In-Page TMA Ads: These look like classic push notifications with an icon, title (up to 30 characters), and description (up to 60 characters). They integrate natively into the TMA interface and deliver high CTR rates. Minimum CPC starts at $0.015.
- Video TMA Ads: Considered the most effective format, these provide users with comprehensive information about offers and look similar to ads in other mobile apps.
The best performing verticals for TMA ads are Crypto, Finance, Gambling & Betting, Dating), and Software/Utilities.
Now that you know the different types of ad formats that MyBid has to offer, it’s time to decide which one would work best for your offer.
If you’re not sure, you can always ask your account manager for advice since they know best what offers perform well for their traffic.
Low Minimum Deposit
MyBid requires a $100 deposit before they can start running your campaigns.
But don’t worry; this is just to ensure that you’re serious about using their platform.
The deposit process varies depending on which management option you choose:
For Managed Accounts: You’ll need to wait for your account manager to send you a payment link for your initial deposit. This ensures proper account setup and verification.
However, once your account is established, you can manually top up funds anytime without waiting for manager assistance.
For Self-Service Accounts: You can make deposits immediately without waiting for any links from account managers, giving you instant access to fund your campaigns.
MyBid accepts deposits through multiple payment methods:
- USDT (Tether)
- USDC (USD Coin)
- Paxum
- Capitalist
- Bank/Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard)
- SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area)
This variety of payment options makes it convenient for advertisers from different regions and with different payment preferences to fund their accounts quickly and securely.
Option for RTB or XML Integration
If you’re a DSP or SSP or an agency that needs a large volume of traffic, you can apply for RTB or XML integration so you can purchase traffic seamlessly. You can bulk purchase any of the ad formats supported by the platform.
Direct and Brokered Traffic
This ad network’s traffic comes mainly from the thousands of direct publishers they work with, topped with brokered traffic. The majority of the traffic is adult in nature, with some grey mainstream.
Numerous Targeting Options
When it comes to targeting, MyBid gives you a lot of options to choose from so that you’ll only show ads to the right audience. You can narrow down viewers based on:
- Country and City
- Operating System types, families, and versions
- Browser family and version
- Language
- Provider
- IP Range
- Subscription age (for push notification ads only)
When it comes to targeting by geolocation, you can do so by groups or regions. For instance, you can ask your manager to target Tier-1, EU, Latin America, DACH, Nordics, Asia, and more.
How to Start Running Ads with a Managed Account in MyBid
MyBid is a new advertising network that is quickly making a name for itself in the industry.
As a result, more and more businesses and affiliates are looking to create an account with it. The process is actually pretty simple and does not require a lot.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Create an Account
Go to the MyBid website and click on the “Sign Up” button. Enter your name and contact information.
Choose “your activity” from the dropdown, whether you are an affiliate, affiliate network, media buying team, direct advertiser, ad network, or something else.
Step 2: Discuss with your Account Manager
After an hour or two, someone from MyBid team will reach out to you via Skype or Telegram (if you sign up on a weekday).
Your account manager will talk to you about your plans.
By understanding your overall marketing goals, they can help create a customized advertising plan that will deliver the best results.
During your conversation, be sure to share as much information as possible about your business and what you’re hoping to achieve with your MyBid campaign.
The more they know, the better they’ll be able to help. And if you’re not quite sure what your goals are, don’t worry — that’s what they’re there for!
Your personal manager will work with you to identify the objectives that will make the most impact on your business.
Then, they’ll develop a targeted strategy that will help you achieve those goals.
There is no minimum daily requirement. You can plan a $1 budget if you want!
Of course, $1 won’t go anywhere, but the point is that MyBid does not set a minimum, so you can really work based on your budget.
Of course, if you already have a strategy that has been proven to work with traffic from other networks and you simply want to scale, that works, too.
Just send them your ad creatives, landing pages, targeting settings, and more, and they can set the campaign up for you.
Step 3: Top up Your Account
There are several ways to add funds to your account, and your manager will help you with them.
Just tell them how much you want to deposit and through whichever payment method you prefer (USDT, wire transfer, credit cards, Capitalist), and they will provide you a link to complete the transaction.
Special bonus: Get a $50 bonus when you top up at least $500; just tell your manager this coupon code: MyBid50.
Step 4: Share Marketing Materials
You must provide your account manager with all the creatives, images, links to landing pages, and even postback URLs.
If you are using a third-party tracker, make sure you utilize MyBid’s macros in order to track the advertising campaigns properly.
Some of the macros you can add include the following:
- {%source_id%}
- {%cost%}
- {%click_id%}
- {%creative_id%}
- {%country%}
Step 5: Ask to Start the Ad Campaign
Once everything is set, you can ask your account manager to start the campaign for you.
Of course, don’t forget to ask them to use their whitelists and blacklists based on your vertical and ad type.
Keep in mind that if your account gets created on a weekend, the campaign will start come Monday.
Step 6: Check the Campaign Stats on the Dashboard
Once the campaign is running, you can monitor it from your MyBid dashboard. There, you’ll see all the relevant statistics, including:
- Clicks
- Impressions
- CTR
- Conversions
- Conversion Rate
- Spent (in USD)
- Revenue
You can then group stats by Date, Source, Creative, and Source.
You can also create custom reports and export them to Excel, but if you use any third-party tracking platform like anything from our best trackers list, you will surely be able to get more comprehensive data.
Your personal account manager will help you optimize your campaigns based on what you’ve discussed.
If you need to make some manual changes, you would have to reach out to your account manager.
Right now, you can enable or disable the campaigns yourself, but that’s as far as you can do for now.
To stop or run a campaign, go to the Campaigns tab and press the “pause” or “play” button, as shown below.
Frequently Asked Questions about MyBid Managed Account
Is my campaign information (ad creatives, landing pages, campaign settings, etc.) safe in MyBid? Will they not be used for their own or someone else’s media buying campaigns?
We know how important it is for every media buying affiliate to keep the secret to his campaign success close to his chest, which is why it can be concerning if someone else will manage your campaigns for you.
To ease your worries, we reached out to MyBid and asked how they can guarantee the secrecy or privacy of the campaigns, and here’s what their representative had to say on this matter:
Like any other advertising network, we see the traffic of our Advertisers.
But we have no reason to spread this to anyone. In addition, in the postback settings, the Advertiser can specify which parameters he wants to share with us.
We value our customers and permanent partners. We have been working for about two years now, we have increased the volume and trained specialists in the field of affiliate advertising. At this stage, we decided to scale up and go public.
I understand your skepticism, we are a young company, yet we are not known. But it’s a matter of time.
How do I reach my personal account manager?
You can talk to your personal manager via Skype, Telegram, or email. They are available 24/7, which means even if you live in a different timezone, you can chat with your manager to discuss your campaigns without worry.
How to Start Running Ads Using the Self-Service Option in MyBid
With MyBid’s self-service platform introduced in 2024, advertisers now have complete autonomy over their campaign creation and management. As someone who likes to be hands-on when it comes to managing campaigns, I was delighted with this change!
I like that the platform recognizes that different advertisers have varying levels of experience and time constraints.
As such, it offers two distinct approaches to campaign creation: Express mode for those who need quick setup, and Custom mode for advertisers who require advanced configuration options.
Getting Started with Express Mode
When you’re ready to create your first campaign, you’ll notice two prominent buttons at the top of your dashboard: Express and Custom.
If you’re new to the platform or simply want to launch a campaign quickly, Express mode is your best starting point.
Clicking the Express button triggers a streamlined pop-up interface that guides you through the essential campaign setup process.
The first thing you’ll need to provide is your landing page URL, which is where all your traffic will be directed. It’s crucial that this page is fully optimized and ready to receive visitors before you proceed.
Next, you’ll select your media platforms, which determines the inventory sources that will display your ads.
Your choices are:
- Telegram Mini Apps
- WEB + Mobile
The ad type and payment model selection comes next.
The available options depend on the ad type you select:
- Push Ads: CPC only
- Banner Ads: CPC and CPM
- In-Page Push Ads: SmartCPC or CPC
- Popunder Ads: SmartCPC or CPC
- Video Ads: SmartCPM, CPC, or CPM
For in-page push and popunder advertisements, you’ll also encounter a traffic type selection.
This is where you designate whether your campaign targets adult content (AD) or mainstream audiences (MS).
This distinction is important because it affects both the quality of traffic sources and the types of websites where your ads will appear.
Creative upload is your next step, though this requirement varies by ad type.
Most formats require you to upload images, videos, or text descriptions that will represent your offer.
Popunder ads are the exception here, as they don’t require creative uploads due to their nature of opening behind the main browser window.
One thing I really like is the various in-page push notification styles.
Tip: social notifications and WhatsApp notifications work really for in-page push ads, so I suggest you try those.
The targeting configuration in Express mode focuses on the most essential parameters: country selection and operating system type.
You can choose to target users on mobile devices, game consoles, smart TVs, computers, or tablets, depending on where your audience is most likely to engage with your offer.
Next, you’ll set your bid amount.
MyBid provides minimum and maximum bid recommendations based on current market conditions and competition levels, helping you make informed decisions about your spending strategy.
Finally, you’ll be asked to review your entire campaign set-up.
If all’s good, click Create and wait for the campaign to be approved. And that’s it!
Exploring Custom Mode for Advanced Control
When you’re ready for more sophisticated campaign management, Custom mode opens up a world of possibilities.
Instead of a simple pop-up, you’ll be taken to a comprehensive campaign creation interface featuring multiple tabs and a real-time campaign summary panel.
The General Settings tab contains all the fundamental options you’d find in Express mode, but with additional controls that give you greater command over your campaign’s behavior.
Beyond the standard settings, you can configure the Traffic Quality:
- Optimum – Balanced traffic with stable engagement and ROI.
- Premium – High-quality users with strong conversion behavior.
This setting is available for in-page and popunder ads.
Budget controls in Custom mode go beyond simple bid setting. You can establish daily spending limits and total campaign budgets, giving you precise control over your advertising expenditure.
The postback URL is also provided here.
The Creative tab allows you to better see and manage the creatives you add for this campaign.
The fields are still the same as with the Express mode, though previewing the ad is much easier and you’ll see a list of creatives you’ve created.
The Targeting tab transforms the basic country and OS selection into a comprehensive audience definition toolkit.
Geographic targeting extends beyond country selection to include specific cities and regions, enabling hyperlocal campaign optimization.
Device and browser targeting becomes incredibly granular, allowing you to specify not just operating system types, but also families and versions.
Browser targeting follows the same pattern, letting you focus on specific browser families, versions, and even language preferences.
This level of detail is particularly valuable for offers that may perform differently across various browser environments or for campaigns targeting specific linguistic communities.
Network and usage targeting introduces another layer of sophistication.
You can target users based on their mobile carrier or filter traffic by connection types such as data center, fixed line, library, or commercial connections.
This capability is especially useful for offers that may perform differently depending on the user’s internet access context.
You can also add IP ranges to include or exclude.
Setting IP capping prevents oversaturation. This limits how many times the same IP address encounters your ads.
User agent capping, on the other hand, provides similar control based on browser and device signatures.
Dayparting functionality allows you to schedule your campaigns to run during specific hours and days when your target audience is most active and likely to convert.
I suggest only setting this if you already have data or if the affiliate offer you are promoting has schedule requirements.
Next is the Blacklist and Whitelist tab.
Rather than accepting all available traffic, you can block underperforming sources through blacklisting or restrict your campaign to only proven high-performers through whitelisting.
This feature becomes increasingly valuable as you gather performance data and identify which sources deliver the best return on investment.
Finally, the Bid by Source functionality takes optimization one step further by allowing you to assign different bid amounts to different traffic sources.
If you’ve identified sources that consistently deliver high-quality traffic, you can bid more aggressively to secure greater volume from them.
Of course, sources that underperform but still provide some value, you can assign lower bids, maintaining traffic flow while optimizing costs.
By the way, throughout this entire process, the campaign summary panel on the right side of the interface provides a real-time overview of all your settings.
This feature ensures you can quickly verify your configuration before launching and makes it easy to spot any settings that might need adjustment.
Launching and Managing Your Campaign
Once you’ve configured all your settings in either Express or Custom mode, creating your campaign is as simple as clicking the Create Campaign button.
You’ll also be asked whether you’d like the campaign to be Active or to be Paused once approved.
Your campaign will then be submitted for review and activation, typically beginning traffic delivery within a short timeframe.
The self-service platform’s biggest advantage is that you can make changes right away.
With managed campaigns, you have to wait for your account manager to respond and make changes for you.
But with self-service, you can see how your campaign is performing and make changes immediately.
With these options available to us, MyBid proves that it works well for both new and experienced advertisers.
If you’re experienced, you can use advanced features to optimize your campaigns in detailed ways.
If you’re new to advertising, the platform gives you helpful suggestions and guides to help you learn.
MyBid Pros and Cons for Advertisers
Now that we’ve gone through the main steps on how you can start running your campaigns with MyBid, it’s time to take a look at the updated pros and cons.
Pros:
- Flexible Management Options: Choose between fully managed service or self-service platform based on your experience level and control preferences.
- Free Whitelist and Blacklist: Your dedicated account manager will whitelist or blacklist predetermined sources based on your ad’s vertical and ad format. This means you won’t have to spend any money testing the waters.
- Low minimum budget of $100: While $100 is pretty average for ad networks, it is actually the lowest minimum deposit we’ve seen when it comes to fully managed ad services.
- Express and Custom Creation: Quick Express mode for fast setup or detailed Custom mode for advanced configuration needs.
- Multiple Payment Methods: Accepts USDT, USDC, Paxum, Capitalist, bank cards, and SEPA for convenient global deposits.
- Wide Ad Format Selection: Six different ad types including the cutting-edge Telegram Mini Apps format for diverse campaign strategies.
- High-Performing TMA Traffic: Telegram Mini Apps ads deliver 10-20x higher CTR and conversion rates than traditional display formats.
- Advanced Targeting Options: Self-service platform offers comprehensive targeting including geographic, device, browser, and dayparting controls.
- Low Minimum Budget: $100 deposit requirement is accessible and one of the lowest for managed advertising services.
Cons:
- MyBid will have full insider knowledge of your digital marketing strategies and materials. Most affiliates are not comfortable sharing this information, let alone their techniques, to anyone, though we answered that question in the Managed Account FAQs above.
- With Managed Accounts, you can’t make instant changes to your ad campaign. You can only activate or deactivate campaigns. You’d have to wait for your account manager to see your message and work on them. Though they are available 24/7, you can’t expect them to make changes the minute you tell them to. There are several minutes to a few hours delay in response.
- There can be a bit of a language barrier. They speak really good English and are fluent in Russian. However, if you are not fluent in any of these two languages, it may be a bit of a struggle to discuss your campaign plans.
- Traffic Specialization: Platform focuses on adult and grey mainstream traffic, which may not suit all brand safety requirements.
How to Earn Money with MyBid
MyBid isn’t just for advertisers—there are several ways you can earn money through their platform.
Whether through you own websites or if know other people who might use MyBid, there are three ways to generate income.
1. Become a Publisher
If you own websites or apps with traffic, you can earn money by showing ads from MyBid advertisers.
Getting Started
First, sign up as a publisher. After creating your account, you’ll need to contact MyBid to have your website checked and approved. They review websites to make sure they meet their quality standards.
Creating and Managing Ad Codes
Once your website is approved, you can create ad codes through the MyBid publisher dashboard.
Here’s what you need to know about ad codes:
- Quick Updates: Ad codes allow you to quickly update or change ad spot settings without having to modify your website code each time
- Multiple Ad Spots: You can create several ad spots using just one ad code, making it easy to manage multiple ad placements on your site
- Flexible Setup: You have two options—create one ad code for all your websites, or create separate ad codes for each individual site, depending on your preference and management style
How Ad Spots Work
When you install an ad code on your website, different ad spot formats become available in your publisher panel.
You can then manage these ad spots directly from your dashboard, controlling what types of ads appear and where they’re displayed.
Maximizing Your Earnings
You can also create special landing pages and set up Traffic Back to earn even more from your visitors.
Trafficback means that visitors who don’t convert on the main offer can be redirected to other offers when they click the exit or the back button, giving you more chances to earn money.
You can use the proven page templates the MyBid provides.
Getting Paid
MyBid offers many payment options to make it easy for publishers worldwide:
- Bitcoin
- Capitalist
- Paxum
- PayPal
- Webmoney
- Wire Transfer
Payment is made within 7 days, which is faster than many other ad networks.
2. Push Subscription Collection
This feature is available in the Advertiser dashboard. It helps you make extra money from visitors to your landing pages by collecting push subscriptions.
It gives you an additional way to make money from the traffic you already paid for.
The extra income can help reduce your advertising costs or even make your campaigns profitable faster.
How It Works
When you buy traffic for your campaigns, you can add a simple script to your landing pages to collect push subscriptions from visitors.
Even if visitors don’t buy your main offer, you can still earn money from their push subscriptions.
How to Set It Up
Step 1: Add the provided script to the HTML header of your landing page
Step 2: Download the .js file that MyBid provides and put it in the main folder (root directory) of your website
Step 3: Start earning extra money from the push subscribers you collect
This is a smart way to get more value from every visitor, making your advertising campaigns more profitable.
3. Referral Program
MyBid’s referral program lets you earn money by introducing other people to the platform. This one is available in both the Advertiser and Publisher dashboards.
You can refer either an advertiser or a publisher.
How It Works
You get a special referral link to share with others.
When someone signs up as an advertiser using your link and spends money on MyBid, you earn 5% of everything they spend.
When someone signs up as a publisher using your link and sends traffic to MyBid, you earn 2% of everything they earn.
Payment Schedule
MyBid adds your referral earnings to your account balance on the first day of each month.
This gives you regular passive income as long as your referrals keep using the platform.
Combining Multiple Income Streams
The smart approach is to use all three methods together. You can:
- Run your own advertising campaigns
- Collect push subscriptions from your landing pages
- Publish ads on your websites
- Refer other advertisers to earn ongoing commissions
This creates multiple ways to earn money from the same platform, making your overall online business more profitable and stable.
MyBid Verdict
All in all, MyBid has evolved into an excellent advertising platform that now offers both managed and self-service options to suit different advertiser preferences.
What we really like about MyBid is that they keep adding new features. They work hard to stay up-to-date with the latest advertising trends, which is good for advertisers.
We have used MyBid’s traffic ourselves and it works very well for adult offers and adult dating campaigns. We got good results with these types of offers.
But you should test other types of offers yourself, because results can be different depending on what you’re promoting.
MyBid works for both new advertisers who need help and experienced advertisers who want full control. The company has grown a lot since it started and now offers something for everyone.
If you want to try a good advertising platform with quality traffic, we recommend testing MyBid.
