Nutra Best Practices: The Affiliate’s Guide to Winning in Health & Beauty
October 14, 2026 by Jairene Cruz-Eusebio 21 min readTable of Contents
ToggleOne of the best pieces of advice you can get in performance marketing is this: pick a vertical and stick with it.
Don’t jump from one vertical to the next, chasing whatever’s the biggest thing in affiliate marketing this month.
Learn one thing well.
Stay consistent. Become the expert.
Do that long enough, and you’ll end up earning something you only dreamed about a few years ago.
That’s exactly why we create best practices articles like this one: to help you, the reader, become that expert.
And this time around, we’re focusing on Nutra.
Health, beauty, wellness, men’s health, supplements… if it helps people look, feel and even “perform” better, it probably lives here.
Nutra has been around for years and it keeps coming back stronger, which makes it a great place to build real expertise.
So think of this article as your map.
We’ll walk through the decisions you’ll make, from picking your audience to scaling your campaigns, and point you to our deeper guides along the way.

The Nutra Map: Learn the Different Nutra Niches
So what exactly is Nutra?
It’s short for nutraceuticals, which just means products you take or use to look better, feel better, perform better, or live healthier.
That’s a wide umbrella, so let’s break it down into the niches you’ll actually be working in.
Weight Loss
Weight loss is the big one, and it never really goes away.
People always want to lose weight, and they’re always willing to spend on something that promises to help.
Inside it, you’ll find a few very different kinds of products:
👉 Weight loss pills: the classic.
👉 Slimming teas: the quieter cousin, which wins by selling a comforting daily habit instead of a harsh diet.
👉 Nutra patches: the newest wave, riding the buzz around GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic.
Men’s Health
Men’s health covers products for potency, performance, erectile dysfunction (ED) and male enhancement.
You’ll often hear it called adult nutra, because it sits close to the adult vertical.
That matters more than it sounds.
The audience is mostly men, the products are more personal, and the way you write your creatives and choose where to advertise is different from, say, a slimming tea.
If you want to promote this, you should look into Adult Ad Networks for traffic.
It’s also one of the more stable niches in Nutra, which is why so many affiliates build their whole business around it.
Beauty
Beauty, skin and hair is the “look better” side of Nutra.
Think anti-aging creams, skin care, and hair growth or hair loss products.
What makes this niche tick is that the results are visible.
People want to see a difference in the mirror, so the creatives, the stories and the proof all lean on visuals.
The audience skews toward women, though hair products can speak to men as well.
It’s a very competitive niche, which means the affiliates who do well here are usually the ones who know their audience inside out.
General Wellness
General wellness and supplements is the widest bucket, and it’s where a lot of the newer products live.
You’ll find everyday vitamins and also:
- joint health
- vision support
- diabetes-related supplements
- gut health/metabolic health
- hearing
- CBD
- blood pressure support
- brain health
A good chunk of this niche is aimed at people in their senior years, who are looking for help with a specific health concern.
That’s someone in their fifties or sixties dealing with joint stiffness.
They don’t want a miracle.
They want a clear explanation of the problem and a product that makes sense.
That’s why this niche leans so much on storytelling and trust.
And since new health concerns keep entering the conversation, this is also where fresh niches tend to pop up.
Now, why does knowing all this matter? Because a lot of people think Nutra means weight loss and nothing else.
It’s easy to see why, since weight loss gets most of the spotlight.
But the audience, the angles, the creatives and even the traffic that works can look completely different from one niche to the next.
A playbook that works for slimming tea won’t automatically work for a vision supplement or a men’s health product.
Knowing the map helps you do two things. You can choose where to specialize instead of drifting between niches.
And you can match your approach to the audience you’re actually talking to.
Remember how we said to pick one vertical and stay in it?
Pick one niche inside Nutra, too. Learn it well.

Nutra Affiliate Program Payment Models
Before you pick a product or a traffic source, there’s one question that shapes almost everything else: how does the offer actually pay you?
In Nutra, it usually comes down to three models: COD, SS, and trial offers.
Get this wrong and you can run a great campaign and still think it’s failing.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Let’s start with COD, or cash on delivery.
The user sees your ad, lands on a page, and types in their name and phone number.
No card involved.
Then a call center rings them, confirms the address, makes sure they really want the product, and only after that does the order count as confirmed.
That’s when you get paid.
COD exists because in a lot of markets, like parts of Africa, MENA and South Asia, plenty of people don’t have a bank card or just don’t trust typing card details into a site they’ve never heard of.
Paying when the package arrives takes that fear away.
Straight Sale (SS)
SS, or straight sale, skips the call center.
The user sees the price right on the page, picks what they want, and pays by card in the same session.
Either the page convinces them right then, or they leave.
It’s why SS usually lives in Tier 1 markets like the US, UK and Canada, where paying online is second nature.
Trial (CC submit)
The trial model sits in between.
The buyer starts with a free or low-cost trial of the product and may carry on with a subscription afterward.
While the initial product is free (as part of a trial program), the user should first input their credit card in order to qualify.
Once the free trial is over, the advertiser automatically charges the card for a renewed subscription and sends the user a fresh batch of products.
Why would knowing the payment model be important?
Well, because your promotional tactics depend on how you get a conversion.
If it’s a Straight Sale or a Free Trial offer, expect to have the buyer pull-out their credit cards.
To do that, you need to have a funnel that builds trust completely.
Quiz funnels and VSLs work great here.

Know Your Audience: Who’s Actually Buying Nutra
Can you imagine the person who is buying the product you are promoting?
And I don’t mean just “someone who would like to lose weight.”
I mean someone who IS buying something.
How old are they?
What do they already know?
What are they frustrated about right now?
If you can’t answer those questions now, that’s OK!
Most beginners can’t!
But it’s really worth thinking about early on, because the people you are writing for will influence EVERYTHING, from the angle you write and the creative copy you create to the traffic and the GEO you select.
Once you identify your audience, it’s a lot easier to do everything else.
If you get it wrong, you are paying to show ads to people who were never going to buy.
So let’s meet the people who show up in Nutra.
| Niche | Audience (sample) | Angle | Best Traffic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weight loss pills | Women 30-50 with hormonal changes (perimenopause, menopause) who have tried keto and fasting | Validation: what she's going through is real, not a willpower problem. "Why the scale stopped moving after 40" | Social (Meta)Tier 1 |
| Weight loss pills | Men 35-50 who feel bloated, run down and low on energy | Short, practical, clear results | Social (Meta) |
| Slimming tea | Women who already drink tea every day | Bloating relief, ritual, wellness and self-care | Native (advertorials) |
| Nutra patches | Women 30-60, including perimenopause and menopause | The three-step story: stick it, it absorbs, fat burns | NativeSocial (TikTok)Social (Meta) |
| Nutra patches | Women post-partum | "Feel like yourself again" after childbirth | Social (TikTok)Social (Meta) |
| Men's health (adult nutra) | Men 30-55 who want better performance and confidence | Blatant and direct: say exactly what the product does, with clear, bold benefits | Adult pushAdult in-page push Networks: TrafficStars, Clickadilla, Plugrush |
| Beauty and skin | Women 30-55 interested in anti-aging and skin care | Visible results: the mirror test, before/after proof, a simple daily routine | Social (Meta)Social (TikTok)UGC-style video |
| Hair | Men and women 25-50 dealing with thinning or hair loss | Regrowth progress: timelines, close-up visuals, real-person proof | Social (TikTok)Social (Meta)Native |
| General wellness (joints, vision, diabetes, gut, hearing) | Adults 35-65, mostly in their 50s and 60s, with a specific health concern | A clear explanation of the problem and a product that makes sense, built on storytelling and trust | NativeSocial (Meta feeds, 45-65+) |
Women aged 30 to 50 with hormonal changes
This is our weight loss buyer.
In our weight loss pills guide, it’s the woman who says “I’ve done keto, I’ve done fasting and nothing works.”
In our nutra patches guide, we have women from 30 to 60.
Perimenopause and menopause is a big angle here.
Think about it—there are a lot of these women who feel like the mainstream advice for how to lose weight is ignoring what they’re going through, right?
So for the copy that works, you’re not telling her about her willpower.
Instead, you’re telling her that what she’s going through is real, and it builds trust instantly.
Men aged 30s to 40s
Our weight loss guide is for men who are 35 to 50 years old who are feeling bloated, run down, lack energy, and have low metabolism.
They’re a bit less emotional and more focused on getting results.
They want simple explanations and clear outcomes, so instead of telling this customer a longer story about her, you’ll make it super-short and very practical.
Notice how the product can be the same, but the copy is completely different.
People who are comfortable with their daily routine
This is more about mindset than it is about age.
For example, our slimming tea guide is for women who drink tea every day.
Nearly half the world already drinks tea every day, so you’re not asking people to change their lifestyle.
You’re just telling them to change one cup to another.
These buyers want words like ritual, wellness and self-care, rather than promises of a complete transformation.
Different buyer, different language.
Women post-partum
There are smaller groups, but they are really enthusiastic! Based on our patches guide, they don’t want to hear “I’ve got this fast fat loss for you.”
They want to feel like themselves again after childbirth.
Older audience with a specific health condition
This is really important for the general wellness niche.
Older age groups between 35 and 65 are great for our Nutra SS offerings, as people in those age groups are usually looking for solutions to problems they are facing in their life, and are more comfortable paying for things online.
How to put this into practice
👉 Write your buyer down in one sentence:
-
- age, what she’s already tried, and what she wants.
- If you can’t finish the sentence, you’re not ready for launch.
👉 Match your tone to your buyer:
-
- validate the woman who’s already tried everything,
- be direct with the man who wants results,
- be gentle with the tea drinker.
👉 Start with the older audience when doing a health-focused offer.
Picking Your Nutra Offer and Nutra Affiliate Network
So now you know who you are talking to.
What do you actually put in front of them?
You might have already noticed the temptation to apply for the first offer you see.
You may have seen the high payout of a particular offer and thought, “Wow, a hundred bucks a sale sounds great!”
But don’t just go for the highest. Each offer pays a list of numbers, so it’s really a list of payouts you see.
An offer that pays more but has a low conversion rate is still gonna pay you less than an offer that pays a bit less but has a high conversion rate.
So let’s discuss where you can apply for Nutra offers and how to look at them!
Where to find Nutra offers
If you’re on Mobidea, every offer can be found inside the Offers Directory, under Affiliate Network in the main menu of your dashboard.
You can click on an offer to get to its details: payouts, countries, restrictions… and then Apply Now if you’re happy!
You only need to fill out the application form once per offer, and then your affiliate manager (AM) will review your application.
Looking for a particular offer?
Use the search bar and type keywords in!
You can find a guide with links to the nutra patches in our guides section.
Type “patch” or “patches” in the search bar to see what is live.

Read the offer like a buyer
You cannot just stop at the payout.
You also have to look at what GEOs the offer is run in, what the restrictions are, and what the EPC is looking like.
And you have to look at the EPC by GEO, because it can vary a lot.
Here is an example from our slimming tea guide.
Lulutox has an EPC of 4.8 in Australia and Canada, 4.4 in Germany, 2.9 in the UK and 2.5 in the US.
It’s the exact same product, but the payout varies almost double depending on where you send the traffic.
That is why we say you have to choose the offer and the GEO together, and we’ll cover GEOs in the next section.
Check what comes with the offer
Some offers give you a head start in terms of materials.
Some come with pre-tested content like animations and short videos, UGC style, email templates, and ready-made funnels like quiz style landing pages, short story landing pages, advertorials, etc.
Have you ever looked at a blank page thinking, “I don’t know what to do!” while trying to build up the first creative?
It can save a lot of time.
That is why, when you compare two offers, what you really need to compare is the materials included.
The offers that you choose will need to be focused on, you cannot spread yourself too thin.
As it is said in our ultimate guide to affiliate marketing, “Don’t try to promote everything!
It will only cause confusion and you won’t be able to promote any offer properly!”
Talk to your affiliate manager
Your AM sees the offers, numbers, and changes before you do.
So, don’t be a wuss.
Ask your AM which offers are converting well in the GEO that you’re targeting.
Choosing a GEO: Where Should Your Campaign Go?
Instead of going into a long explanation about GEOs, let’s play a game!
I’ll tell you about a campaign, and you’ll guess where it should run.
No peeking at the answers, I hope?
Round 1: The card-shy crowd
You’re running a Nutra offer where the user leaves a name and a phone number, and a call centre confirms the order.
Your audience has never typed their card details into a website they don’t know, and honestly doesn’t plan to.
Where do you send the traffic?
✔️ Answer: Markets where card culture hasn’t really taken hold.
Places like Africa, MENA and South Asia.
People there prefer paying when the package arrives, so COD fits naturally.
Pair the model with the market, and you’re already ahead of most beginners.
Round 2: The card swipers
Now flip it.
Your offer is straight sale, so the user has to pay by card on the spot.
You want people who do that without a second thought, and who have the budget to spend.
Where now?
✔️ Answer: Tier 1.
This points to the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Western Europe, where online card checkout is second nature.
The US is usually the first stop.
It’s the primary market because the GLP-1 conversation is most embedded there, order values are highest, and funnel infrastructure is the most mature.
After that, there’s Canada, the UK and Australia as natural next steps.
Round 3: The budget squeeze
You like the US, but the traffic costs are eating your margins.
You want a Tier 1 audience that spends well, with less of the crowd.
Any ideas?
✔️ Answer: Look at Europe.
This is the underestimated location, with Germany, France, the Nordics and the UK as priority markets.
People here spend on wellness and shop online a lot.
If you don’t want to fight over expensive US traffic, Europe offers better profit margin and less saturation.
Round 4: The copy-and-paste plan
Last one, and it’s a trap.
You’ve got a winning English VSL in the US.
You run it through a translator, post it in Germany, and wait for the money.
What happens?
✔️ Answer: Probably not what you hoped.
Both our weight loss pills guide and our patches guide say it plainly: a direct translation of an English VSL rarely performs at the same level.
What clicks with an American audience usually has to be reframed completely for a European one.
So budget for real localization, meaning adapted scripts and creatives and not just translated words.
It’s more work, but it’s the difference between a campaign that works and one that quietly bleeds.
So, how did you do?
Choosing a GEO is usually about more than one thing.
In our case study with nutra adult, the team went for Thailand because it’s a geo that had lots of traffic and good payouts.
We ran a COD offer there and kicked it off with a minimum CPC of just $0.002.
Cheap traffic, good payouts, the right payment model and a call centre in place.
That’s basically the whole deal in one example.
How to put this into practice
👉 Make sure your payment model matches your GEO.
COD is suited for low card usage geos, SS and free trials for Tier 1 and Tier 2.
👉 Compare EPCs by GEO before you commit.
Same offer, different payout from country to country.
👉 Test Europe if US costs are killing you.
Germany, France, the Nordic countries and the UK first.
👉 Budget for localization.
Localize your script and creatives for each market, and don’t just translate.
Best Ad Formats and Traffic Sources to Work With
When you buy supplements, you turn the bottle around and read the label before you take anything.
What is in it? What is it good for?
How many should you take? What are the side effects?
It’s the same with traffic sources.
Each of them has its own ingredients, benefits, and side effects.
If you take the wrong one for your offer, you’re not going to feel anything… except that you’re wasting your budget.
(Not medical advice, just media buying advice.)
So let’s read the labels one at a time!
Social (Meta and TikTok)
What is it?
Social is our top pick for Nutra.
Ask any experienced affiliate where the real conversions and profit come from, and most of them will tell you “socials.”
Benefits:
Meta (Facebook & Instagram) gives you precise targeting.
It’s the best for reaching health-interested women in their 40s and 50s in Tier 1 markets.
Once a campaign has a positive run, it scales like hell.
TikTok rewards speed and volume, and casual, UGC content beats polished.
Side effects:
Volatility.
Meta accounts get flagged, creatives get rejected, and what works today might get pulled tomorrow…
Don’t rely on one Meta account for your entire operation.
Always have some backups ready, and check out our anti-detect browser guide if you are running several accounts.
Native
What is it?
Ads that blend in with content.
Perfect for that “read the story and then click” way that Nutra likes best.
Benefits:
Stability.
Native is still the go-to for patch offers, with big volume on platforms like Taboola, Outbrain, and MGID.
Moderation is more consistent and easier to manage than socials.
It’s the most stable source for volume and staying power.
Check our top native ad networks for other traffic sources of this ad format.
Advertorials, the article-style pages that native feeds into, dominate in this vertical over direct landing pages by a massive margin.
People who click native ads are reading, not buying.
Side effects:
Native lives and dies by the quality of storytelling.
If you don’t have strong headlines and a solid advertorial, you’ll struggle.
Search (Google, Bing, etc.)
What is it?
High-intent traffic.
Someone who is searching for “weight loss patch review” has done their research and is only a click away from buying.
Benefits:
You can’t beat the buyer intent with search.
For strategy, our patches guide and our weight loss pills guide both point to long tail and review keywords.
Side effects:
This is the most expensive and difficult source to manage for this vertical.
Push, In-Page Push and Pops
What is it?
The type of ad format that you’ll see on most ad networks, and where you’ll also find most COD offers.
Benefits:
Cheap but massive volume.
Side effects:
Not all networks will accept health and supplement content, and each has its own quirks.
Some auto-optimize, some require you to manually blacklist sites (which is important!)
We recommend using Adsterra, Kadam, and Galaksion if you want to use these ad formats to promote your Nutra offers.
Men’s health content needs extra attention.
For these ad formats, we recommend TrafficStars, Clickadilla and Plugrush for adult-related and men’s health content.

Creatives and Headlines That Work for Nutra
This is the stuff everyone likes to talk about—creatives.
It’s the stuff people actually see.
You can have the best offer, best GEO and best traffic sources and still go broke if your ad doesn’t stop someone in their tracks.
It’s like your first handshake, and you have about two seconds in Nutra to make it work.
So, what works?
Think of what you’re selling, not the product
It’s a common mistake.
Nobody wakes up wanting a capsule.
They want the benefit, the thing it promises.
For our weight loss pills, we found outcomes outperforming features every single time.
| nutra highlight 1 |
|---|
🚀
So tell people what they get, not the stuff inside the bottle. |
Look at your angle – it can be anything
You’d think weight loss was the angle on slimming tea, right?
| nutra highlight 2 |
|---|
🚀
The best angle for slimming teas is actually bloating relief. |
Why?
Because people want bloating relief today, rather than in three months.
Also, the language is less loaded.
Same product, different angle, and it starts to click.
Notice that the native headlines do not mention weight loss at all.
They start with words like “curious,” “rituals” or “wellness.”
A headline like “The weird morning drink that’s helping women over 40” starts to make more sense.
Make your hook obvious
With nutra patches, the system is a three-step story: “stick it to your skin, it absorbs, and then fat burns.”
That makes for a great image thumbnail, TikTok hook or headline.
| nutra highlight 3 |
|---|
🚀
When they're scrolling fast, a hook they understand in two seconds outperforms a hook they need to explain. |
Don’t go all-in on one type of content
Different formats do different things:
👉 Static images (single image ads) are the cheapest and fastest way to test.
This is a great starting point.
A clean product shot with a short benefit overlay in one place can be enough.
👉 UGC (user generated content) style videos.
You don’t need any ring light, or even a script.
Anyone with even the slightest bit of cynicism will quickly dismiss anything too perfectly staged.
👉 Hybrid style videos.
These start off like UGC videos, but also have some small branding elements, like a caption bar or a short video of the bottle.
The guide suggests these are the longest to survive in Meta’s algorithm.
👉 Product demos.
A person opening the bottle and taking a capsule.
It answers “how do I even take it?” in three seconds.
👉 Lifestyle content works best lower in the funnel, when someone just needs a little reassurance.
Don’t show the product too quickly
This is my favourite trick, and the guide mentions it in both the slimming tea and weight loss guides.
Post your routine first, then talk about the product later.
A steaming cup of tea, a morning routine, a person counting out their daily dose.
Then let people start commenting on the post asking “what is that?”
Reply with the name and the link, or tell them to look in your bio on TikTok and Instagram.
The comments start flowing, and the algorithm notices the engagement.
When you finally post the product, it feels like a happy accident and not a sales pitch.
Keep your creatives fresh
Creatives get stale.
If you find yourself with a low conversion rate, it may be worth updating the creative—people get fed up with tired creatives and stop clicking on them.
Look at what everyone else is doing
Use a spy tool to see what’s already running.
AdPlexity Social and Tyver are two of the best spy tools to try right now.
For example, with nutra patches, searching “weightloss + patches” and “weight management + patches” can help narrow it down.
We also have guides for Facebook ad spy tools and TikTok ad spy tools if you need somewhere to start.
Walk the Funnel: From Ad to Pre-Lander to Offer
Let’s run a lesson by just going through the funnel, following one buyer through the whole process.
Meet Maria. Maria is not an actual person.
Maria is a composite person from one of the target audiences: a woman in her late 40s who has tried keto, tried fasting, and has been told it’s all about willpower.
It’s a Tuesday night.
She’s on her phone, half-listening to TV.
So let’s watch what happens to her, and what you can do to control everything.
Stop 1: The ad (you only have three seconds)
Maria sees the headline, “Why the scale stopped moving after 40 (it’s not what you think).”
She stops.
It’s not because the headline promised a product.
| nutra highlight 4 |
|---|
🚀
Attention grabber: the hook that talks about something she is experiencing. |
It works because it’s not telling Maria how she’s wrong, it’s affirming her feelings.
Look at what the ad did and what it didn’t do.
It didn’t have a price.
It didn’t promise a miracle.
All it did was get a click.
The hook is only half the job.
The other half is the exact match it gives her to what she sees next.
Where Maria could have left: if the ad promised something that wasn’t fulfilled on the next page.
Stop 2: The pre-lander (where she gets warmed up)
Maria taps and lands on a page that isn’t an ad—it just looks like a story about someone’s experiences, or an article.
This page, the pre-lander, is a sort of in-between page.
| nutra highlight 5 |
|---|
⚡
The pre-lander is not trying to sell—it just wants to "warm up." |
This warm-up is non-negotiable, with a format like “I thought it was just another tea… but then I lost weight without even trying.”
This is a format of a personal story and the reason it works is because it’s so natural, people feel comfortable enough to take it off guard.
It sets up emotional engagement before she’s seen a product and a price.
When she gets to the advertiser’s page, she’s already partly sold.
Depending on your traffic, the pre-lander can have varying looks.
For native traffic, it will often be an advertorial, a page that acts like an article.
Other forms include a review page or a quiz.
A quiz is interesting because Maria has to spend some time on the site, and we know that when Maria invests in your offer, she’s genuinely interested in it.
Or you can also use a VSL (video sales letter).
VSLs can be long, ranging anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes.
The video takes her through the problem, why it happens, the solution, the proof, and then it’s time to close.
It sounds long, but people who watch the whole thing often convert at a higher rate.
Where Maria could have left:
- The page isn’t warm enough
- The page wasn’t engaging
- The page is too short and doesn’t answer Maria’s questions
What you control: a lot.
You can test the headlines, stories and page layout on this page.
So what did we learn from Maria?
Each stop in the funnel answers the question of the previous step.
How to put this into practice
👉 Send cold traffic to a pre-lander.
Sending cold traffic directly to a product page leads to people bouncing.
Offer pages are better for targeting people who already know you.
👉 Match the page to your traffic.
Advertorials are best for native, review pages can work with native or Google.
Quizzes can help when you have multiple products to offer.
👉 Keep your story consistent.
If you’re using an ad to tell a story, your pre-lander and offer page should continue the story.
👉 Find out where people are dropping off.
Rule of thumb: if people are barely getting past the first step, change your targeting.
If they get deep into the funnel but drop off at checkout, change your funnel or build more trust.
👉 Test one thing at a time.
Change the headline or the story, and see what changes.
Scale Smarter: Staying Power and the AI UGC Boom
You’ve chosen your niche, your offer, your GEO, your traffic, and you’ve got an ad that works.
Now what?
Now you scale.
And this might be the best time ever to be an affiliate trying to scale.
Found a winner? Don’t get comfortable
Finding a winner is not the finish line, it’s the start of the work.
It’s pretty simple to scale.
It’s just a few things that most of you are doing anyway, but that we can help with:
👉 Clone your winner into similar places.
If it worked in the US, the natural next steps for your traffic are Canada, the UK and Australia, then Western Europe.
👉 Add a second traffic source.
Once your primary one is stable, our Best Nutra Ad Networks guide has many options.
👉 Catch the next wave early.
Remember how the patches started?
While the creative space had already been picked over, the window might not be open for another year.
Keep your eyes on the new niches coming up.
You’ll be one step ahead when you spot them.
The creative bottleneck has been eclipsed
It used to be that you had to find a UGC video creator, send a product sample, wait, pay, wait some more, and maybe you got something that wasn’t useful.
For many affiliates, that creative production bottleneck limited how fast they could grow.
But now?
You write a script in the morning, shoot a talking head video by lunchtime, and test out three different versions by dinner.
That’s AI UGC.
AI produces the people, voices, and videos in that casual “shot on a phone” style of Nutra videos.
No creators.
No sample shipping.
No waiting.
Keep it (relatively) real
The real-world problem with AI UGC is that it only works when it still looks like real UGC.
So, do these things:
👉 Stay real.
Use short sentences, everyday language, and an unpolished environment. Avoid a “shot on a studio set” vibe.
👉 Mix real with AI footage.
👉 Add some tease before the reveal.
The trick still works with AI videos.
👉 Test it yourself.
AI does speed up video testing, but it won’t do it for you.
Put AI UGC up next to your traditional UGC and let the numbers decide.
👉 Read the rules of each AI tool first.
Some AI tools don’t let you create certain types of content, so make sure the tool can handle health and supplement content before building your workflow around one.
