gives you the ID of the campaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>[domainid] \u2013 gives you the ID of the website in which you\u2019ve gotten a conversion\/visit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>[adid] &#8211; Unique ID of the ad creative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>[country] &#8211; Country name of the visitor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>[timestamp] &#8211; The time of the day in which the visitor was redirected<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>[tracking] &#8211; Unique ID of the click\/impression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>[spaceid] &#8211; Unique ID of the ad space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All you need to do is add those parameters to the Track1 and Track2 zones of the Smartlink (if you work with Mobidea) and you\u2019re ready to go!<\/p><div class=\"mobid-in-content-15-p\" style=\"margin-top: 26px;margin-bottom: 26px;\" id=\"mobid-2186676321\"><div class=\"mobid-adlabel\">Advertisement<\/div><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/recommends\/semrush-v2\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"semrushtrialseo\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/semrushtrialseo.gif\" alt=\"\"  class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\"  style=\"display: inline-block;\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The following examples are Smartlinks without DT (1) and Smartlinks with DT (2):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>http:\/\/www.example.com\/?sl=35808-6551e&#038;data1=<strong>Track1<\/strong>&#038;data2=<strong>Track2<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>http:\/\/www.example.com\/?sl=35811-6eac6&#038;data1=[campaignid]&#038;data2=[domainname]<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>On Ero-Advertising, this tool helps you optimize by letting you match revenues with costs for a parameter.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ron-campaign-creation\"><\/span><strong>RON Campaign Creation<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Let\u2019s start with the basics:<\/p>\n<p>Creating a RON is very simple and straightforward but you need to be careful with some options that are available to you on the road.<\/p>\n<p>Go to the <strong>Advertisers tab -> New campaign -> RON campaigns<\/strong> and you\u2019ll see a small box:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-ron-campaign.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10576 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-ron-campaign.jpg\" alt=\"ero ads ron campaign\" width=\"486\" height=\"242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-ron-campaign.jpg 486w, https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-ron-campaign-250x124.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-ron-campaign-120x60.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 486px) 100vw, 486px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In this case, I\u2019ll explain the Banner Ads campaign because it\u2019s one of the most common ones.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the next field, it\u2019s <em>better to choose advanced.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p>Because it gives you plenty more targeting options for your campaign!<\/p>\n<p>The following image shows the targeting settings available.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see &#8211; on top of it &#8211; inside a black box, I\u2019ve marked the various tabs you\u2019ll have to fill in so as to get the targeting steps done.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10579 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1-700x733.jpg\" alt=\"ero ads banner ads\" width=\"700\" height=\"733\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1-700x733.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1-250x262.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1-768x804.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1-120x126.jpg 120w, https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ero-ads-banner-ads-1.jpg 893w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step #1 &#8211;\u00a0\u201cCommon Settings\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Campaign name and group<\/u>:<\/strong> You can name your campaign and associate it with a group previously created by you (Advertisers -> Campaign groups).<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Source Optimizer<\/u>:<\/strong> In this spot, you should choose \u201cNothing\u201d. If you don\u2019t, this tool will limit your traffic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Selected rating: <\/u><\/strong>This option selects the kind of traffic. It\u2019s only \u201con\u201d if you click on the place to target the sites with that specific rating. I advise you to uncheck the box and leave it open to all ratings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Frequency Capping:<\/u><\/strong> choosing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/frequency-capping\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">number of times your ads will appear to a specific IP<\/a>. When starting a campaign, I suggest you go for 1\/24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Select domain filter:<\/u><\/strong> This is the place where you can apply website filters in order to blacklist or whitelist domains. When creating a RON campaign for the first time, you don\u2019t have to worry about this because you still have no data to create a white\/black list.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Payment type:<\/u><\/strong> \u00a0The bidding system in Ero-Advertising is quite \u201ccompetition friendly\u201d due to the fact that you can see your position every time you want, just by going to the Banner Ads menu and clicking on your campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Here, you\u2019ll have to be really careful when choosing your bid because in RON campaigns &#8211; unlike CPM campaigns (you pay on a SmartCPM basis) \u2013 you\u2019re paying on a <strong>fixed <\/strong>CPM\/CPC model, which means you pay exactly the bid value.<\/p>\n<p>As recommended by Ero-Ads, I choose CPM because of its advantages when compared to CPC.<\/p>\n<p>For further details, check the Mobidea Academy\u2019s essential <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/cpc-vs-cpm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CPM vs CPC<\/a> article. Don\u2019t worry: I\u2019ll cover the CPM campaigns subject in the second part of this article.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Daily<\/u><u> budget:<\/u><\/strong> the budget limit you impose on your campaign on a daily basis. If reached, the campaign will stop and restart on the next day.<\/p>\n<p>My advice: leave a medium range limit; one that you surely don\u2019t want to surpass but that can still give you relevant data to optimize.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Maximum budget:<\/u><\/strong> the maximum value you want to spend on the campaign. Once reached, the campaign will stop until you restart it.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t recommend you use this option, as it\u2019s better for you to use a daily max budget in order to control costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Time period(s)\/Day of the week: <\/u><\/strong>the time schedule you want your campaign to be running on. At the beginning, it\u2019s advisable to leave these options open to all days and all hours in order to gather good data. Once you spot trends of conversions for specific hours\/days then this may become a valuable tool.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"step-2-%e2%80%93-language-country\"><\/span><strong>Step #2 &#8211;\u00a0Language Country<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The platform gives you more advanced parameters, such as website\/browser languages and regions inside each country (if you want a more specific targeting.)<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"step-3-%e2%80%93-campaigns-traffic-filters\"><\/span><strong>Step #3\u00a0&#8211; Campaign\u2019s traffic filters<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>First of all, you\u2019ve gotta select Mobile traffic and then pick the options to display your ads on all types of browsers (WAP+XHTML).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Ero-ads-Optimization-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-892 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Ero-ads-Optimization-3.jpg\" alt=\"Ero-ads Optimization (3)\" width=\"402\" height=\"625\" start with Android only.<\/p>\n<p>If the campaign performs well, you can later launch it to another OS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConnection Type&#8221; is one of the most important targeting options.<\/p>\n<p>Select only the carrier from the segment you\u2019re looking for.<\/p>\n<p>On the \u201cExtra filters\u201d pick \u201cAll display options\u201d, \u201cAllow all website types\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As for \u201cGoogle PageRank\u201d leave it as it is \u201cminimum (\u2026)\u201d so as not to limit the traffic sources.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"step-4-%e2%80%93-choose-your-categories\"><\/span><strong>Step #4 &#8211;\u00a0Choose your Categories<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Start by choosing \u201cStraight\u201d as a main category due to its general attribute.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, select all categories since you don\u2019t wanna miss any category on a RON campaign.<\/p>\n<p><a above, click on \u201cAdd ad\u201d to add banners to your campaign so that it can start receiving traffic.<\/p>\n<p>If you check on the bottom of the page you just opened, there\u2019s an option to window?<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s where you\u2019re gonna both upload the 3\/2 banners and set their features.<\/p>\n<p>Because the bid isn\u2019t made by campaign but by banner, the number of banners you
