programs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Imagine you wanna create a program.<\/p>\n<p>You write and develop it like a pro.<\/p>\n<p>Now, what?<\/p>\n<p>You also wanna use functions that belong to other programs.<\/p>\n<p>But how?<\/p>\n<p>Easy!<\/p>\n<p>Just take a look at the API documentation in order to efficiently canvass through it and ultimately find the list of functions which are more reliable option.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You know full-well that your app will continue to work continuously with a website.<\/p>\n<p>It wouldn&#8217;t matter whether or not the website decided to shift its look and design: the API would read it anyway.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"types-of-api\"><\/span>Types of API<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are numerous different types of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recode.net\/2014\/3\/4\/11624160\/apis-are-bridging-the-mobile-app-gap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">APIs for applications<\/a>, websites and operating systems.<\/p>\n<p>There are the remarkably popular Java APIs and interfaces within specific classes that allow certain objects to communicate to each other in the Java programming language.<\/p>\n<p>There are also Web APIs.<\/p>\n<p>The most well-known types of API are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Remote Procedure Call (RPC)<\/li>\n<li>Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)<\/li>\n<li>Representational State Transfer (REST)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Still not satisfied?<\/p>\n<p>Want some more examples?<\/p>\n<p>You can think of Windows, the computer OS developed by Microsoft to run PCs (personal computers.)<\/p>\n<p>Windows has lots of different API sets which are used by <em>both applications and system hardware.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Windows isn&#8217;t action.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Google_APIs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google APIs<\/a> allow software engineers to integrate the videos showcased on YouTube as well as the functionality into <strong>either applications or websites.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are some of YouTube&#8217;s APIs:<\/p>\n<p>YouTube Player API, YouTube Data API, YouTube Live Streaming API, YouTube Analytics API.<\/p>\n<p>What about Facebook?<\/p>\n<p>How does Facebook use APIs?<\/p>\n<p>Notice how you can <strong>embed Facebook comments on any given website<\/strong> and have those specific comments synchronize with the Facebook page?<\/p>\n<p>API alert!<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s an awesome way to use APIs to the max, since it makes life easier for a blogger, for example.<\/p>\n<p>How?<\/p>\n<p>The API allows users to <em>write a comment on a specific blog.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That comment will also appear on the Facebook page associated with that blog.<\/p>\n<p>Cool, right?<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"advantages-of-apis\"><\/span>Advantages of APIs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>APIs have brought about a whole lotta great advantages.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t fill the post with a whole list in alphabetical order, which means I&#8217;ve narrowed some <strong>benefits of using APIs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>They&#8217;re available for affiliate networks and they work with programs which work <em>directly with merchants<\/em><\/li>\n<li>APIs have <strong>pre-formatted links which are pre-loaded along with the publisher ID<\/strong>, making sure that publishers can earn a commission for redirecting users to the offer<\/li>\n<li>They&#8217;ve got real-time data that&#8217;s always current, and super accurate<\/li>\n<li>They&#8217;ve got response data in the <a href=\"http:\/\/whatis.techtarget.com\/fileformat\/XML-eXtensible-markup-language\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XML<\/a> or the JSON format. This means the publisher can easily integrate the specific content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"hows-an-affiliate-api-used-in-affiliate-marketing\"><\/span>How&#8217;s an
