Imagine having a casino offer with a great payout.

Your creatives are ready and your budget is loaded.

You click on the Submit Campaign button and eagerly await for conversions to start coming in.

But then… your ad account gets flagged before your ad even gets its first click.

That doesn’t sound too good, does it?

If you are an affiliate eager to break into the iGaming vertical, I have some bad news for you.

Gambling is one of the most heavily moderated verticals online.

Getting campaigns approved is one of Gambling affiliates’ biggest headaches.

But there’s also some good news—there’s a way to prevent advertising platforms from banning your campaign (or your ad account), and that’s through cloaking.

In this guide, we will go over why iGaming affiliates are using cloaking and what cloaking actually does.

Why iGaming Is the Hardest Vertical to Advertise

So what’s the issue?

Advertising gambling is heavily restricted on every major platform and the rules are always changing.

Meta’s restrictions require that you have prior written permission and proof that your product is licensed in all regions.

This applies to all landing pages of sites like affiliates and aggregators too, regardless of whether anybody can actually play on them or not.

Google’s restrictions are based on certification and you need to apply for every individual region separately.

In 2025 alone, 18 gambling policy changes have been rolled out on Google.

It’s not an easy one to keep track of.

TikTok prohibits gambling ads entirely, according to a 2026 industry roundup.

Then there’s the fine print.

A landing page that passes review for the UK can fail for New Jersey if it lacks the state’s regulator badge and disclaimer text.

Even small slips can hurt.

Incomplete license info or wording that breaks the rules can lead to disapproved ads or permanent bans.

What Cloaking Is, in Plain Words

Cloaking is a traffic filtering technique, where you show different content pages depending on who the visitor is.

Imagine a receptionist in an office building, every visitor is going to come to the front desk.

The receptionist is going to say which is the right room to go to, separating VIPs from regular walk-in guests.

Cloaking works the same way, with two landing pages.

  1. White page: This is the clean and safe page for moderators, bots, unwanted visitors.

  2. Offer page (a.k.a Black page): Your real landing page for your target audience.

    "igaming

The software runs a series of tests on each click, based on signals such as the clicker’s IP address, device, browser, and location.

After passing all tests, the tool then redirects the user to the appropriate page.

The whole process only takes milliseconds.

Quick note: Don’t confuse traffic cloaking with link cloaking.

Link cloaking disguises your affiliate URL into a shorter, branded link to protect your commissions and make your links look cleaner.

What we’re talking about here is traffic cloaking, which dictates the page the visitor will see.

    Why iGaming Affiliates Use Cloaking

There are three main reason to use a cloaker.

Let’s go over them one by one.

    For Bypassing Moderation

This is where our example above falls under.

Most platforms have different ad rules based on your GEO and the type of license.

This is particularly tough for offers with grey licenses.

Most platforms would restrict or ban grey-license offers, so affiliates would need strong moderation skills.

Cloaking allows affiliates to still run these campaigns even without the need to show licenses.

On top of this, there are certain advertising strategies that are not allowed.

For instance, some advertising platforms prohibit landing pages that showcase stories of winners which cannot be proven to be real.

Statements such as “sure win” are also not allowed.

And finally, while some Gambling and Betting sites accept players from anywhere, some countries prohibit gambling.

If you still want to try and promote in such locations, you’d need a safe landing page to show anyone other than your target market.

To Hide Their Strategies From Competitors

Anyone can gain access to a competitor’s strategies nowadays, especially with the help of ad spy tools.

These competitive research tools let you see exactly how other people built their funnels, all the way down to the landing page.

Some tools even specialize in specific verticals like gambling.

Once you’ve found the perfect funnel, anyone with a spy tool can analyze it.

Cloaking allows you to ‘hide’ your funnels from those spy tools.

Send your real visitors to the Offer Page and send your competitors to the White Page.

With cloaking, you can keep your advertising strategies a secret and continue to earn from them discreetly.

    "white

For Customizing Content For Each Market

Each iGaming licence has details about which markets the operator is allowed to service.

Targeting an unlicensed market with traffic from a licensed product can potentially lead to regulatory action.

""

If you want to maintain good graces with the advertiser or brand, you’d want to make sure you show the offer to the people from the right geolocation.

With cloaking, you can direct visitors from a single ad to various landing pages that follow each geo’s restrictions.

For instance, UK visitors are redirected to a product that has an UKGC licence.

European visitors are redirected to a product that has an MGA licence.

Each landing page has its own disclaimers and payouts that match the market.

In essence, SmartLinks work using the same logic.

What to Look for in a Cloaking Service (and How Cloaking.House Delivers)

Now that you know why using a cloaking service is essential, your next step as an iGaming affiliate is to look for a reliable one.

Take note that not all cloaking services are equal, which is why we recommend using Cloaking.House.

    "cloaking

Proof of their reliability as a cloaking service for iGaming affiliates is that they won the Best Cloaking Service award at the AffBank Awards 2025.

I recommend evaluating any service based on six things:

    1. Filtering Depth

The more checks run through each click, the better the service is able to distinguish a real user from the rest.

Check if your cloaking tool of choice can scan for IP, VPN proxy, ISP, referrer, device, OS, browser and language.

With Cloaking House each click goes through IP, VPN proxy, IPv6, ISP, referrer and click limits, whitelists, blacklists and blacklist filtering.

The service claims it can help hide your offer page from bots, moderators, and spy services.

    2. GEO Targeting and Speed

It’s important to be able to control the redirects by location and device.

Speed matters too, since a slow redirect is just a waste of clicks.

Cloaking.House allows you to target by country, device, OS, browser, language and time zone, and it has an average response time of 120 ms.

    "cloaking

    3. White Page Options

Where you want to go from here requires a safe page that fits your niche and language.

    Creating it yourself is time-consuming.

And sometimes the templates available for sale are too expensive.

Not to worry, as Cloaking.House has an AI White Page Generator that generates unique pages for any niche such as nutra and gambling.

    It also supports multiple languages.

The cost is $5 per page on Starter, and goes lower as your subscription level increases. That’s as low as $1 on Enterprise.

This pricing is cheaper than what many landing page sellers have online.

    4. Low Setup Friction

This simply means how quickly you can create a link from signup to live traffic.

The simpler the process, the better, of course.

The good news is that Cloaking House provides a ready-to-go cloaked link, so you don’t need hosting.

You can add your own domains or get ready-to-go domains within the service.

There’s also a PHP option if you want your own integration.

    5. Scale and Support

And what if you have questions or if you encounter an issue?

A tool should grow with you, and a real person should answer when something goes wrong.

With Cloaking House, you’ll get API access, real-time stats and—most importantly—support for all traffic sources.

Every plan includes a personal manager.

Cloaking House also has a marketplace with anti-detect browsers, proxies, cloud phones and account services, so you can get everything you need to run a successful iGaming campaign in strict ad platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google.

Blog tutorials and YouTube guides are available too.

While we’re at it, if you’re shopping for antidetect browsers, check our Best Anti-Detect Browsers list.

    6. Pricing and Trial

It’s hard to choose between the different price points when you have no idea what you will receive.

Cloaking.House offers clear pricing and a free trial to make your decision easier.

    "cloaking

Yearly billing cuts the price by about half.

The Starter plan works out to $25 per month when paid yearly, instead of $49.

Though starter gives you only 3 active flows.

If you run many campaigns, you’ll move up a plan quickly.

Is Cloaking.House the correct choice for you?
