important pieces of advice I can give you!<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t pay extra to <strong>create different campaigns<\/strong>, so fire away.<\/p>\n<p>Never mix more than one country in a campaign!<\/p>\n<p>Why shouldn\u2019t you do it?<\/p>\n<p>Because &#8211; if you do &#8211; creating and optimizing your campaign will be like experiencing hell on earth!<\/p>\n<p><strong>All the info will come in bulk and mixed among countries<\/strong>, making it much more complicated for you to check <strong>which parameters work well<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All the info regarding hours, operating systems, mobile carriers, and languages will be registered, which is definitely not good.<\/p>\n<p>Why is it harder to <strong>create and optimize your campaigns?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s imagine you create a campaign for two countries \u2013 for example, Spain and the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The first issue attacks you when you need to decide which pre-landers and banners to work with.<\/p>\n<p>In case you happen to <strong>be using creatives with Spanish copy, they won\u2019t be good for UK traffic<\/strong>, and vice-versa!<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s continue in our hypothetical world, focusing on this made-up campaign in the UK and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine you wanna promote a Single Offer with the traffic you\u2019re bidding for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you don\u2019t choose an offer that allows the UK and Spain, you\u2019ll be losing traffic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Should an offer be specific for one of these countries (and not the other), part of your traffic will fall off the offer.<\/p>\n<p>This means <strong>you\u2019ll lose part of this traffic<\/strong> and get it going to an offer that\u2019s gonna have 0 conversions.<\/p>\n<p>Now let\u2019s pretend you wanna optimize that same campaign, with both Spain and the UK, by browser languages and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/dayparting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dayparting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If the campaign has both countries, it\u2019ll be impossible to do it!<\/p>\n<p>Why is it <strong>impossible to optimize per languages and dayparting<\/strong> for both campaigns at the same time?<\/p>\n<p>Because the languages spoken in these countries are different!<\/p>\n<p>Plus: the time zones are also different!<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what can also happen: you\u2019re <strong>bidding below the value<\/strong> you can bid for.<\/p>\n<p>Let me give you a good example using the same situation: on this campaign, you\u2019d notice a different performance between the UK and Spain (and even among their carriers).<\/p>\n<p>This also means that you could get a <strong>better performance in one GEO\u00a0<\/strong>and therefore a higher eCPM.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why you should be able to set a higher bid for the best performing GEO.<\/p>\n<p>That won\u2019t be possible if you merge the GEOs like a crazy numbskull!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"higher-payouts-dont-mean-more-profit\"><\/span>Higher Payouts Don\u2019t Mean More Profit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>True dat! In case you happen to see a high payout, don\u2019t get all psyched, calling your friends to tell them you\u2019re gonna make it rain like it\u2019s insane!<\/p>\n<p>Trust me on this: higher payouts don\u2019t always mean a whole lotta cash coming your way!<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say you log into your account.<\/p>\n<p>You canvass through the offers and notice one you like. It\u2019s got <strong>a payout of 15\u20ac\u00a0<\/strong>and then you start thinking: \u201cI\u2019m gonna be rich!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wrong! You shouldn\u2019t make assumptions based solely on that super tasty payout!<\/p>\n<p><strong>High payouts don\u2019t mean more profit!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most of the times, the high payouts you see are for offers that hail from <strong>top tier countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This means that buying traffic from these countries will be <strong>more expensive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The impression costs more and that\u2019s why the payout is higher.
