for.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re interested in this ad network but you\u2019re not sure about how to begin, I recommend you read part I first.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this article is to learn how we should optimize Traffic Factory and also when we should not be stubborn and <strong>accept the fact that the segment is not profitable whatever optimization you may do.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The remarks you\u2019ll find in this article are mostly directed at banner and feature phones campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>Now let us begin\u2026<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"traffic-source\"><\/span><strong>Traffic Source<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Traffic Factory is based on only two websites: <strong><em>xvideos.com and xnxx.com<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, the volumes generated by these two websites are so remarkably huge that it\u2019s one of the ad networks with more traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget that, due to the lack of a carrier targeting option, <em>you\u2019re not allowed to target 3G or Wi-Fi separately.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In effect, the % of Wi-Fi traffic which we receive is larger than the one from 3G.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, we receive around 80% of Wi-Fi traffic and 20% of 3G traffic, <strong>depending on the segment.<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"mobid-in-content-15-p\" style=\"margin-top: impression and conversion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The most popular ones are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>campaign.id:<\/strong> The Id of the camapaign<\/p>\n<p><strong>user.device:<\/strong> Device information<\/p>\n<p><strong>banner.id:<\/strong> The banner ID<\/p>\n<p><strong>categories:<\/strong> The category<\/p>\n<p><strong>user.region:<\/strong> The region where the actions have been done. You can access the region&#8217;s codes on\u00a0the following <a href=\"https:\/\/main.trafficfactory.biz\/targets\/region-codes\/ALL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">link<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"statistics\"><\/span><strong>Statistics<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Traffic Factory doesn\u2019t give a wide range of info. line-height: 1.5;\">If you read our article about <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/banners-tips-improve-performance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">banners tips<\/a>\u00a0you\u2019re on your way.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, I\u2019ll still emphasize some of the \u201crules\u201d you should follow in order to have the best possible quality.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a golden rule for the number of banners you can use: a minimum of 3; a maximum of 5.<\/p>\n<p>This obviously depends on the volume of the campaign\/segment.<\/p>\n<p>If you use more than 5 you\u2019ll have to spend precious time and money to analyse and compare the different performances; if you use fewer than 3, you can\u2019t compare performances for different banners.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have a campaign which provides you with a large amount of traffic, you don\u2019t have to worry with the quantity of data. Therefore, you can use up to 5 banners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have a campaign with low traffic, you should use 3 banners.
