In fact, you can nail a good campaign right from the first days.<\/p>\n<p>However, that dream is pretty unlikely and, again, it will be sheer luck.<\/p>\n<p>If you wanna be consistent and make some real money, you can\u2019t think about counting on getting lucky every single time.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the reason why <strong>you\u2019ve gotta get data and invest that money<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>The prize of investing and spending time analyzing data?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe you\u2019ll make it rain so wet that you won\u2019t need to analyze data ever again!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2-dont-mix-different-traffic-types\"><\/span>2. Don\u2019t Mix Different Traffic Types<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Sometimes newbies want to put everything into a campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Why the heck would they do that for?<\/p>\n<p>Because &#8211; for these inexperienced bees &#8211; the higher the volumes, the better the honey!<\/p>\n<p>This statement &#8211; however &#8211; is far from reality.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s get to the point: <strong>you don\u2019t mix mobile and desktop traffic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Why shouldn&#8217;t you mix mobile and desktop traffic?<\/p>\n<p>Because <strong>their characteristics are radically different<\/strong> on almost everything you can possibly think of! In fact, the bids will be different, the conversion ratio will be different, the approach and angles necessary for creatives will be different, the type of offer will be different and so on and so forth.<\/p>\n<p>Want another one?<\/p>\n<p><strong>You don\u2019t mix <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobidea.com\/academy\/3g-traffic-vs-wifi-traffic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wi-Fi and Carrier traffic<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The reasons why?<\/p>\n<p>The same exact ones that have been stated above.<\/p>\n<p>You could really destroy an otherwise potentially profitable campaign by mixing olive oil and water!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3-play-it-smart\"><\/span>3. Play it Smart<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In affiliate marketing, wisdom is mighty important.<\/p>\n<p>You can\u2019t be callow or you\u2019ll risk wasting a ton of cash and moving back in with your parents.<\/p>\n<p>Come on, dude<\/p>\n<p>We both know your parents don\u2019t deserve another round, don\u2019t we?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, indeed!<\/p>\n<p>I guess you just need to choose your battles wisely:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t start in tough GEOs when you don\u2019t have enough experience<\/strong>, for example!<\/p>\n<p>Okay.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re a newbie.<\/p>\n<p>You see a list of suggestions of GEOs.<\/p>\n<p>Then you use your eyes to see that Switzerland and Belgium present some very high indicators, such as those sweet EPCs.<\/p>\n<p>Great! Don\u2019t be a Damn Copycat<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI\u2019ve been imitated so well I\u2019ve heard people copy my mistakes.\u201d Jimi Hendrix<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Learned something from the guitar master, didn\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you have!<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t expect to make it if all you do is copy others!<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t get me wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Ripping landers and creatives is normal.<\/p>\n<p>I guess we\u2019ve all been there, at least once or twice.<\/p>\n<p>What makes it harmful is constantly copying exactly what other people are doing and expecting to get amazing results.<\/p>\n<p>Why would you?<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no differential!<\/p>\n<p>Everyone\u2019s doing it!<\/p>\n<p>It has been seen, done and experienced before.<\/p>\n<p>In this game, you either get creative or you get moving!<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re lucky, this copycat balderdash can even work for a short while, but it\u2019s quickly gonna get saturated.<\/p>\n<p>This doesn\u2019t apply only to creatives, but also to those well-known follow-along articles and guides you can find in forums.<\/p>\n<p>Again, you can use them to get some knowledge, but <strong>trying to just replicate what\u2019s in there isn\u2019t gonna be your smartest decision<\/strong>, considering that hundreds of other people will probably be doing the same.<\/p>\n<p>Want a good tip?<\/p>\n<p>Use these strategies wisely. How? <strong>You can rip landers, for example, and then twitch them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can try many different angles and find out what you can do to have the edge you\u2019ll need to really reach amazing results.<\/p>\n<p>The same with forum threads.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, you can get some tips from there, but don\u2019t restrict yourself to try to replicate what\u2019s there, or else you\u2019ll be just another one in the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the guy who posted that info you\u2019ve read online is probably already making money in a different way and just posted for that very obvious reason.<\/p>\n<p>Or do you think he just happens to be a competition junkie?<\/p>\n<p>Give me more competition!<\/p>\n<p>Yes, that\u2019s the fix I need!<\/p>\n<p>Give me a break!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5-hold-your-horses\"><\/span>5.
